Music for the sequence;;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tYhrPeHmY0&feature=related

The music we have chosen is a dark Gothic choir. This adds to the religious element of gangster films. Gangsters are notoriously religious although its a contradiction as they violate the morals of a church in every deed they do.  We start the track at 37 seconds as this part is fading in  so will work well with the fade in of the titles and credits.  It also gives enough time for the music  to pick up at 48 seconds and add more atmosphere to the start. The atmosphere and feeling we are hoping to give to the audience is an anxious feeling so they are drawn in from the very moment the titles appear. The music then fades out as the broadcast is starting, this will keep the audience hooked as they have gone from listening and hearing one thing straight into the next not taking the focus off of the audio stimulus keeping them listening even if they were not expecting the talking to start. This provokes another feeling from the audience and this is shock, this relates to the film genre  as the murders are often brutal and shocking.
